Recently, some of our parishioners and advertisers in our bulletin have received a text and/or email from someone who claims to be Rev. Douglas Bignall. These texts and emails ask the receiver to send google play cards or Itune cards to Fr. Doug for an ill parishioner who is in need. The emails asks for you to send the codes on the back of the cards after you have purchased them.
Dear Parishioner, Jesus’ words are most encouraging. No matter what comes our way, our Lord reminds us very clearly that He is in control and he will give us the courage we need to face each day. I am writing you about several matters of church life and practice as we begin the process of resuming to normalcy, albeit at a gradual pace. It is a lengthy letter, but I want you to have a document to which you can refer during this unique time.
We continue moving forward in fulfilling Jesus’ command to make disciples by offering everybody in our community a relationship with him. As we move into our Summer schedule, we took the time to update our website, StHubertChurch.com. The website was not updated just to update it. Because 70-80% of online visitor traffic is on a mobile device, our website needed to be designed with mobile traffic on the forefront of our minds.
With praise & thanksgiving, please celebrate with us as Ryan Eggenberger is ordained in a private celebration as a Transitional Deacon for the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Detroit. Watch the Livestream at Facebook.com/SHMSdetroit or visit www.SHMS.edu
